This month meat will be sent out by courier for delivery on the 1st and 23rd April.
Our farmer markets in April are Barnard Castle on the 4th, Orton on the 11th, Kendal on the 24th and Brampton on the 25th. With an extra market this month, the Fourty Farms market at Rheged near Penrith on the 4th.

Dexter Beef
Our Dexter beef comes from cattle born, bred and reared on our upland Cumbrian farm. They grow slowly on a grass diet, conserved as silage and hay for the winter, so they take longer to finish than would be the case on a more commercial farm, but the benefit is a mature tasty meat full of flavour. This is enhanced by dry aging the carcase for a minimum of 3 weeks before it's cut and packed in our small on-farm butchery.
