The dates for farmers market in October are Barnard Castle 5th (1st Saturday), Orton 12th (2nd Saturday), WE WON'T BE THERE, AND NOT AT Stainton 19th (third Saturday), WE'LL BE AT Kendal 25th (last Friday), and Brampton 26th (last Saturday).
Mail order delivery dates for October are Thursday 24th and 31st. In November we'll be sending orders for delivery on the 7th, 14th and 21st. We will not be sending orders by courier in December.
Local deliveries and collections from the farm and farmers markets as usual until December 24th, with Kendal being on the 20th and Brampton on the 21st in December.
Venison
Our venison is from our herd of Red deer. Farmed in a similar way to our extensively reared Dexter Cattle our venison is a lean succulent meat with little if any fat. We have our own on-farm micro slaughterhouse built specifically for our deer so we can ensure our high welfare farming standards continue right up to the point of dispatch with no necessity to transport them off-farm.
