We have now closed our shop for deliveries by courier until 2026. The next date for Mail Order delivery is: January 29th 2026.
The dates for our final farmers market in December are:- Kendal 19th and Brampton 20th. Our first markets in 2026 are Kendal and Brampton on the last Friday and Saturday in January.
Local deliveries and collections are between the 18th and 23rd, please get in touch if you want to collect between Christmas and New Year. As a lot of the meat we have available is already ordered a lot of items are no longer listed in the online shop, we are aiming to keep the availability updated. However it's possible once the orders have been prepared there will be some cuts remaining to sell at the markets that are not curently listed, venison dice and steaks for instance, by all means message or email and ask us to reserve items if they become available.
Sausage, Burgers, Meatballs & Grillsticks
Our range of hand-made sausages, burgers, meatballs and grill-sticks all have a high meat content. A selection don't contain gluten and are indicated as being suitable for a coeliac (gluten-free) diet (C). All our sausages are made in lamb skins and those that do include pork as an extra ingredient are clearly marked (P). All these products, and mince, have a shorter shelf life than our meat products, 6 days from when they leave us, so they should be frozen on receipt unless they are being eaten within a couple of days. The sausage & burgers are supplied in vacum packs, which gives them better protection in the freezer and means they take up less space than if they were in trays, it also reduces our plastic usage; the downside is they don't look quite as appealing. If you would prefer them in compostable trays please let us know, there would be a small extra charge for the packaging. The meatballs and grill-sticks (kebabs) are packed in compostable trays.
