The dates for our farmers market in November are:- Kendal 14th (second Friday), the Fourty Farms Market at Rheged on the 15th, Kendal 28th (last Friday) and Brampton 29th (last Saturday). And in December:- Barnard Castle 6th (first Saturday), Kendal 12th (second Friday), Orton 13th (second Saturday); Kendal 31st (early this month) and finally Brampton 20th (early this month). The next dates for Mail Order delivery are: November 13th and 19th. The last date we will be sending meat out by by courier is November 19th. Local deliveries and collections are as listed in the delivery options but can be arranged at other times, please get in touch.

Description

A steak taken from the feather blade in the forequarter ( shoulder). Suitable for braising but, if its cooked blue or rare, it can be fried quickly and is tender enough to eat as a steak, and of course is full of flavour.

There are only 3 flat iron steaks from each forequarter, if they are already ordered for your chosen delivery date we'll be in touch and confirm our soonest supply date.

The images in our online shop and weight options are indicative. Our animals are not a uniform size, and there is variation in the level of marbling and fat cover on our beef. As a result, we cannot guarantee the meat you receive will look exactly like the photograph, and sometimes it’s not possible to achieve the higher weights, particularly of steaks. You will only be charged for the weight of meat supplied.
